Layyah Media House is a distinguished journalistic and literary institution based in District Layyah. Its mission is to bring local journalists together on a single platform, represent their concerns, and empower them to raise the voice of the oppressed within society. The organization is also dedicated to strengthening journalistic ethics and standards through various initiatives and training activities.

Founder: Muhammad Kamran Thind
Muhammad Kamran Thind, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Layyah Media House, has been associated with journalism for over a decade.

He has served as a District Reporter for Royal News and TV Today.
Currently, he is affiliated with the National Television Network (NTN News).
He contributes columns to various local and national newspapers.

He is also engaged in research and reporting on climate change.
Mehar Noor Muhammad Thind(Late)
Mehr Noor Muhammad Thind — a renowned historian of Layyah and researcher of the Thal region — holds a distinguished place in Layyah’s literary and intellectual heritage. At a time when online research and Google were virtually unknown, he authored landmark works such as Auliya-e-Layyah and Tareekh-e-Layyah. His scholarly efforts preserved and illuminated the history of Layyah, earning him great respect in academic and cultural circles.

It is a matter of pride for Muhammad Kamran Thind that he is the brother of Mehar Noor Muhammad Thind, whose contributions remain a cornerstone of Layyah’s documented history.
